You do not need to ask permission to use this research. It is published to be cited, and everything below is designed to make that quick.
Figures, charts and tables may be reproduced with attribution to Kasinohai Research and a link to the study they come from.
Permission is granted in advance. No email required, no licence to sign.
The conditions
There are four, and only the last two are about anything other than credit.
- Attribute the finding to Kasinohai Research.
- Link to the study page the figure came from.
- Do not alter a chart’s numbers, axis or scale. Recolouring and resizing are fine.
- Where a figure carries a stated limitation, do not quote the figure without it.
The last one matters more than at first glance. Several findings here are genuinely unresolved (the German result in the re-regulation study is the clearest example) and are labelled that way on the page. Quoting one of those as settled would misrepresent the work.
How to cite
Every study carries a ready-made citation at the foot of the page. The form is:
Virtanen, Antti (2026). Study title. Kasinohai Research. https://…/research/study-slug
In running copy, “according to Kasinohai Research” with a link to the study is enough. If you are naming a specific figure, name the study it came from: several studies here measure similar things in deliberately different ways, and the distinction usually matters.
What we can supply
- The underlying table for any figure, as a CSV: Every chart already ships its table on the page; this is for when you want it in a spreadsheet.
- A chart as an image file: Images can be provided at print resolution, with the caption and source line intact.
- Comment from the analyst: On any study here, including on what a finding does not show.
- A methodological answer: If you need to know whether a number is robust enough to lead on, please ask. The honest answer is sometimes no.
What we will not do
- Give one outlet exclusive access to a study, or embargo one for a single publication.
- Endorse an operator, or supply a ranking of named brands. No casino is named in any performance context in this section, and that does not change for a story.
- Confirm a conclusion the data does not support, no matter how good the headline would be.
- Provide commercial figures about our own business, which is not what this research is about.

Contact us via support@kasinohai.com, marked for the research team. Tell us your deadline in the first line, and we will tell you straight away whether we can meet it.
Who does the work and how it is funded, including our conflict of interest, which is real and worth knowing about before you cite us, is set out in About this research. The rationale behind every figure is in the Methodology.
